Increased attacks last night by the Resistance Front and the Freedom Front, along with the release of a confidential letter from the Taliban; a document that indicates security concerns in Badakhshan.

Kabul – Kabul Times News: A letter that is said to be related to internal and “top secret” documents of the Taliban government has been released by the group’s sources, and its content indicates security concerns in Badakhshan province.

Based on the content of this document, which has not yet been independently verified, it talks about the intensification of insecurity in parts of Badakhshan and its consequences on mining activities. The letter also claims that the insecurity has caused a number of Chinese engineers working on mining projects in the province to leave or abandon their workplaces.

The Taliban have not officially responded to the authenticity of this document or its content, and no independent source has confirmed the claim made in the letter.

Kabul Times News is investigating this matter further and will publish additional details if official or confirmed information is released.
