Cost of US war against Iran approaches $100 billion.
Kabul Times News | USA
New estimates show that the cost of the war against Iran for American taxpayers has reached about $100 billion in the 94th day of the conflict.
According to data published by the Iran War Cost Tracker, US military and operational spending in this war is increasing rapidly and has already taken up tens of billions of dollars from the US public budget.
At the same time, the Intercept newspaper reported that if the current trend continues, the total cost of the US military campaign against Iran may reach $1 trillion. This figure will include direct costs of the war, military operations, maintenance and replacement of equipment, support for military forces and other related costs.
Experts warn that the financial consequences of this war could go beyond immediate military costs and affect the US economy for years to come. According to them, long-term costs such as caring for the military, paying interest on war debts, and rebuilding military capabilities may impose a heavy financial burden on American taxpayers.
Some analysts also believe that if the conflict continues, the cost of this war could be comparable to the long-running US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and become one of the most expensive military operations in modern US history.
