Pakistani security officials have announced that the suicide bomber in Bannu's Dumil area was an Afghan citizen.

According to security sources, the attacker was identified as "Ihsanullah" known as "Khaksar" and was a resident of Zhari district of Kandahar province. The attack, which targeted a police station, killed five civilians, including women and children, and injured 13 others.

Pakistani officials have emphasized that the use of Afghan citizens and the country's soil to carry out attacks in Pakistan has increased security concerns and has become one of the major challenges in relations between the two countries.

According to these officials, the continuation of such incidents could negatively affect regional security and make bilateral cooperation difficult.
