Pakistani media reported that more than five militants, including Abdullah Saeed, a well-known Afghan insurgent affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), were killed in a joint operation by the country's security forces in the Bannu region.

According to sources, Abdullah Saeed was known for his speeches and extensive media presence in North Waziristan and Bannu and was considered a well-known figure among the armed groups.

Pakistani sources added that he, along with several other members of the group, were targeted and killed in a recent operation by the Pakistani army.

So far, the Pakistani government and the Afghan TTP have not officially reacted to the incident.
