Sports- Zakia Ahmad, the daughter of an Afghan mountaineer, succeeded in conquering Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, and registered her name as the first Afghan woman to stand on the top of the world.

Mojgan Ebrahimi, Zakia Ahmad’s sister, confirmed the achievement by posting a message on her Facebook page. At the same time, the website “Everest.life” also reported that Zakia Ahmad is the first Afghan woman to conquer Mount Everest.

According to reports, Zakia Ahmad climbed Mount Everest with a group of climbers, including Christine Harila, on May 21.

The website “Everest.life” wrote in a report: “Zakia Ahmad is the first Afghan woman to stand on the top of the world.”

This achievement comes at a time when women and girls in Afghanistan under Taliban rule have been denied many basic rights, including education, training, and sports.
