Adviser to Shahbaz Sharif: Militants are infiltrating Pakistan from Afghanistan.

Rana Sanaullah, adviser to Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has claimed that militants trained in Afghanistan are entering Pakistan through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and are trying to expand their activities to Punjab province.

These statements come at a time when security tensions between Pakistan and the Taliban have increased. Islamabad considers the activities of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from Afghan soil to be one of the main points of disagreement between the two sides; but the Taliban has rejected these allegations.

In recent days, Pakistani officials have also reported the killing of 15 armed individuals while trying to enter Pakistan from Afghan soil.
