Young woman dies in Ghor after severe domestic violence
An 18-year-old woman in Ghor province has died after her husband beat her severely and poured boiling water over her body.

The woman, named “Farzaneh,” reportedly married about a year ago.

The exact time of the incident has not yet been determined, and local Taliban officials in Ghor have not commented on it.

This comes after similar cases of deadly violence against women have been reported in a number of Afghan provinces. Last year, at least two women in Nangarhar died after being accused of murder by their husbands.
