Iran stresses reduction in number of Afghan nationals, enforcement of immigration laws
Kabul Times News: Nader Yarahmadi, head of the Center for Foreign Nationals and Refugees Affairs of the Iranian Ministry of Interior, announced that the process of organizing foreign nationals in the country will continue with seriousness.

He also called on Iranian citizens and employers to coordinate the process of employing foreign nationals, especially Afghans, with the new laws and regulations of the country.
These statements come at a time when Iran has emphasized in recent years the organization of the presence of Afghan nationals and the intensification of monitoring their residence and employment.
