Local sources in Panjshir province reported the arrest of three residents of the province by the Taliban. According to these sources, the arrested individuals are named “Rostam”, “Ramesh Toriyali” and “Aziz Ahmad” and are residents of the Jangalak Bazarak area of ​​Panjshir.

Based on the information obtained, these individuals were arrested on charges of writing on the wall of their homes. It is said that the writing included the phrase “Spy will be executed”, which was considered a suspicious act by the Taliban.

Local sources added that these arrests were made without providing specific evidence and through a non-transparent process, and concerns have increased about the status and fate of these individuals. So far, the Taliban has not officially commented on this matter.

Residents of the Jangalak Bazarak district have expressed concern over the increase in arbitrary arrests and have called on human rights organizations to look into the issue and protect citizens’ rights against such actions.

Reports indicate that in recent months, similar cases of arrests for unclear reasons have increased in some areas of Panjshir, which has exacerbated the atmosphere of concern and distrust among the people.
