The General Examinations Office of the Taliban has announced that the 2015 General Entrance Exam will begin in Kabul tomorrow.

The Taliban General Examinations Office said in a press release on Wednesday, June 13, that the process of registering biometric information of Kankor candidates in Kabul province ended today.

According to the announcement, the Taliban Examinations Office has asked candidates who have not completed this process yet to visit Kabul University.

The announcement also said that biometric registration is being carried out in order to hold the Kankor exam in a transparent and orderly manner.

The Taliban General Examinations Office added that the Kankor exam in Kabul will be held on Thursdays and Fridays.

However, the Taliban government has completely banned Afghan women and girls from education for the past 5 years and does not allow them to participate in such national exams.
