Prominent American economist Jeffrey Sachs has made strong claims regarding U.S. and Israeli policies toward Iran, stating that Donald Trump is influenced by Mossad and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to Sachs, the United States has for years used tools such as covert operations, assassinations, economic warfare, and extensive pressure campaigns against Iran.
He also stated that the Israeli Prime Minister has repeatedly claimed over the past decades that Iran is only weeks or months away from developing nuclear weapons.
Sachs further claimed that Iran’s leadership had consistently stated that developing nuclear weapons is against Islamic principles, yet the leader was nevertheless assassinated.
