Omidullah Isar, a resident of Faryab province, had completed his master's degree in Uzbekistan and was living there with his family. He had come to Mazar-e-Sharif to buy medicine for his father. On the way to Hairatan, he was killed by ruthless robbers. His niece was also injured and is still hospitalized.
The aim of this incident was to extort money from him. The robbers succeeded in killing him and took their money with them.
